Is this a common problem, i have the strangest rattle coming from the boot and i just can not pin point where exactly it is coming from.

Do you guys have any ideas?
    Wires?
    Has this happened to you?

Have you looked under the boot carpet? Jack, tools, spare wheel, battery etc?

    CD changer brackets?

    Rear speakers come loose?

Could even be boot lining plastics, loose boot lifters, loose trims,

so many things it could be?

Pull your rear headrests out from the parcel shelf so they just clear and make sure your rear seats are securely locked into place. The bracket that the seats latch onto can sometimes rattle a bit, try wrapping a bit of electrical tape round them.

I got in my boot while someone drove the car around a car park, heard the rattle pulled the lining back and there was the strut mount chattering away.
