Is it possible to fit the flat type of wiper blade?

I've just got a set for £10 but don't seem to be able to fit them even though they come with various adapters.

Is this the type available on ebay? Apparently they are not very good

I'm a fan of the PIAA silicone wiper blades, they are absolutely fantastic

Not from Ebay, got them from m-99.co.uk.
Where do you get the silicone ones from?

Any PIAA distributor will stock them which includes many of the motor factors

Check them out in the link below, I have had one set on 3 different cars and I have a set on the coupe. Seriously, they may look more costly than you would prefer to pay but they are worth every single penny and then some

Checked the link and they don't list any for the e39 523i se 1996.
Also the fittings they show are the same ones on the flat blades i've got.
