Evening, Has anyone on here had their rear arches repaired with new steel? What I want to basically do is factor in a rough cost to have the rusty arches cut out and new arches welded back into the original panels. Ive seen so many cars now with them just repaired but the dreaded rust is only months away from reappearing. Need a proper solution!

Are genuine rear 1/4 panels still available in saloon & coupe versions?

    Thanks.

Yes genuine panels are still available but they're expensive...you may get some decent ones off some car breakers...You could try this guy http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...wsbury-t18534/ for what you are after

I had both rear arches replaced and had the sills and boot resprayed at the same time. The guy did a great job and charged me £600 for everything!
