a few years ago I bought some angel eye headlights (non indicator) but rather than an LED ring, at the back there were two 501 bulbs at 3 & 9 o'clock to the ring (8 in total). Is this similar to what you mean?

the original ones were just crappy dull yellow 501 bulbs so I bought some ice white LED bulbs and popped them in and they were super bright. I also got some blue ones seeing as the car was Velvet Blue which I put in when I sold the car but obviously stating the legalities

as for the main headlights, I just got some Ice White H7 bulbs and again they looked great

100W a bit bright though isn't it? Looks cool but you do realise you will occasionally blind oncoming traffic and that's why they are illegal. It's a bit like the people who drive with Fog lights on when it's not foggy as sometimes I'm dazzled depending on which way the road is but these would be worse!

I would recommend you don't get 100W for the benefit of other drivers and simply get some Xenon Ice White 55W as they still work great and look real crisp

mine went into a tube so multi LED's are useless even though quite bright

get the ones with 2 LED's pointing straight forward if yours is like mine. Check descriptions if getting from ebay as I got 1.5W and not 1W

these are similar if not the same ones I got years ago and if you get them, when fitting don't look at them after plugging them in but before you put them in light as you can't see for a few seconds afterwards as they are bright!

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/220713571381

they are expensive but much better than the cheaper ones (normally ones with smooth metal covers)
