    Hi all,

Im going to do some painting on the car to make it look a bit better. Like the gray bumper and side skirts to mach the car.

Question is what is the best / easyest paint to use ?

It has to one that I can use at home, so I know that 2k is out as you need full breathing equipment. What other options is there?

if you do it properly, IE primer and lots of sanding between coats you could probably use a normal spray can?

hi john, if it was me i would use solvent base paint 2 do the job, it dries very quickly, u can get the paint from a place called apec or hex holdins as its known now, if u give them ur paint code and they will mix it up 4 u but u will have 2 buy some thinners as u will need 2 then the paint down a bit.

    hope this helps

You need breathing equipment even with a spray can to be honest mate. 2K also know as 2pack is the best one to go for, gives a long lasting durable finish compared to cellulose. Theres water based paints to but i'm not very clued up on them but you could ask your local paint store

A normal mask will do the job as long as you can't smell any paints, there around £25-£30 with filters
