Hi all, I've got a bit of a strange question that I couldn't find an answer to by searching.
How can you tell a fake M3 rear spoiler from a genuine one? What are the markings to look for etc? and also, how much would each kind be worth roughly?

    Thanks

Real has a part number and logo stamped on it-It'll be on one of the ends underneath so when you lift the bootlid-you should be able to see it Well at least on mine you can

Cheers, I'll have a look at mine tomorrow.
If it's a genuine one (with the brake light), how much are they worth roughly? as I'll be wanting to get rid of mine soon.

My brother answered that question for me a while back..

Basically; Genuine will have the black trims, aftermarket won't.

As for how much; I got mine for £80, but IMO it was worth at least £150!

    Oooh... Oops. :embarrased

Spoiler... Aftermarket won't have brake-light, or the brake light won't have the BMW logo stamped on one side!

BMW logo and part number is the only way to tell. Not all genuine ones have brakelights.
