    hi, iv found on ebay a rear diffuser that they say is the same as the M3 one but will fit all E36 coupe rear bumpers? are they the same bumper or are they different? any help please people

    you can get ones to fit normal bumpers or M3 bumpers mate, i have one fitted to a standard bumper and looks ok mate, post up the link

    I just had a look at mine-which I just happen to have in the lounge at the moment(I bought a new one ) and although the one in the pic looks similar there is a difference by where the exhaust comes out.
    I'd ask for the part number which should be 51.12-2.233.3.64.0-229449 Then again I wouldn't know if it'll fit a normal bumper as I have an M3 one on.Maybe RJB is right and they do fit

    A genuine M3 one will NOT fit a standard bumper....
    Its curved shape to fit the airdam in the M3 bumper...

    Also, looking at that pic on Ebay, the right side end looks like it's been crunched.

    Out of intrest has anyone got a pic of the non m3 diffuser on a non m3 rear bumper.

    I bought an m3 one thinking it would fit but no. So better sell it i suppose.
