In my honest opinion, I think that those aftermarket ones are completely w@nk. I wouldn't personally touch them with a bargepole, so I don't much appreciate them on other E36's.

It's much better to modify your own headlights, and there's nothing wrong with getting a pair of second hand ones in good condition!!!

That way you won't stick a brand new set worth £400 each in the over to put Angel eyes in them!

They don't look bad at all

I can't comment on the fitting but the design looks kind of oem apart from it being a one piece and the little sidelight under the indicator.

If you like em go for it mate

You are right, i dont want chrome. Chrome looks awful.

Thing is with buying second hand is that they are not going to look new.....and THAT boils my pi$$......as someone else put. Headlights suffer awfully ref the ageing thing.

To be honest the ones that i origionally put up are ok. If i get them, then i decide i dont like them i can still flog them on and only make a £30 loss, which is nothing.....and then i can just fork out for some new OEMs.

Can the glass in the headlights be replaced?

I like the ones i have. They are just the headlight and not the indicators, they look more stock than the ones you have in mind, not saying i dont like them, I would deffinatley buy them if i didnt have these.

BTW, the company who sells the lights has not emailed me back any type of answer. Not even a "we dont know the answer to your question as we have not fitted HIDs into them".

    Poor effort.

I had a look on the HELLA website and for the genuine headlight unit you are looking at £300 - £400 for the pair, worth it cos they are OEM but i also have been looking at the ones you originally put up and im stuck on wether to get em or not.
maybe get the aftermarket ones for now then save up for the OEM at a later date?
