    Hi there
Won a set of original M3 mirrors off eBay, received them and whilst making sure all was ok noticed that they had been resprayed from red to black. Whoever sprayed them before sprayed them as one piece and so where the mirror meets the baseplate, you can see the original colour a bit. Obviously i'm gonna rub them back and respray them back to red, but to make sure it's done right, I wanted to split them apart and do the job properly. Now I can't see any screws on the baseplate holding the mirror housing on, so wondered if anyone knew how to split them? Is there a technique or do I just use brute force??

    Thanks in advance guys!

    Hi

Found my answer when searching for "Seperating Mirrors" rather than "splitting". Thought i'd bring this back to the top!
    Modifying M3 mirrors

    Thanks
