    Very colour dependant, I think.

    Works well on red, but so does chrome!

    I only like black ones on black cars. I was gonna do mine but i think they look wrong black on red cars. So chrome IMO.

    I have Hamann ones on my car. They are supplied black.

    Getting a spare grille which you can either paint black or is black already sounds like the best plan if you're unsure.

    That way, you can swap them back and forth as often as you like, maybe keep one for the weekend, or if you lose your marbles you could even go half and half.

    Mines black, or graphite rather, and looks pretty good, makes the front end look meaner:
