    hi i've seen a number of e36 with a carbon fibre centre console i.e the bit around the gear stick where the leccy window switches are. any ideas where to get these from or is it easy to simply wrap it in a carbon film.

    Most are carbon 3M wrap. This looks pretty good tbh and costs very little. Real carbon will rape your wallet..

    Yeah, I quite fancied the carbon fibre trim as well... until I checked with BMW on the prices...

    Just sourcing the two ash tray covers is over £300 if I remember correctly

    they know how to charge. i'm definately gonna give it a go i'll start on a small cheap part to practice. i'll post some pics when i've cracked it
