    Hi All

I'm looking to restore the leather interior on my 328i Sport.

I have been recommended a few different products and wondered if anyone had any experience and also if anyone could identify which exact colour my leather is?

    Cheers

    Pic of interior:

    I've been recommended:

The BRIT system - Looks to be one of the best leather dying systems about, looks like they don't do my particular colour though so i'd have to do ALL of my leather to match a different colour which i can and would do but it's a pain and wouldn't quite match the dash, which i guess i can change lol

Leatherique - Looks like an easy to use product and nice and cheap, matching filler available and can come in custom colour to match so that i only have to do the seat back and base main surfaces. Also do a steering wheel kit which is good!

Leather Magic - Looks like what i will probably end up buying - Seen some good restorations with it, uses filler and dye, available in pretty much every BMW colour on the shelf so should match perfectly, if i can identify my seat colour lol

    What do you think?

Hmm, I think I've seen that interior before somewhere?

Mine when I first bought the car:

If indeed it is the same colour, then the code is 'Beige P7SN'

As for the restoration... some of the other guys on here are shit hot, have a look in the projects section.

    Hope this helps a tad

i used dynamix dye to repair a small section on my seat:
Leather Seat Repair - Using Dynamix

its very good and very easy to use, i wouldnt hesitate on using it on a whole seat if i needed to

As for your colour, i rang my local BMW deler and gave them my reg and they told me the colour name and code

sorry to hijack but those seats look fantastic.

i really need to do mine as they are cracked quite badly. trouble is they are not original leathers so dont know the code for them.

how much do you think i would need for both front seats?

also where did you get the filler from?

    if you go to http://www.dynamixdyes.com/

they have sets of dye and filler, or you can buy them idividually, like the filler or the dye

i bought the small 65ml bottle and used hardley any,

i would imgaine you would get a whole seat out of it

Yep after some research mine are Beige/Sand P7SN(0620). Just waiting to hear back from a few places regarding dye in this colour.

I will be sure to put the results up

And the code should be stapled to a bit of paper on the underside of the rear seat
