    you need to remove pipe 7 from the back box and plug it with the tee and a jubilee clip.

    make sure the flapis open and it will sound like this...

    might give this golf tee thing a whirl!!

    can it do any damage though?? i mean, that pipe was put there for a reason surely lol

    a lot of people have done it with no problems so i don't think it can do any damage mate.

    It could well be like mine and seized shut, soaked it with wd40 for a few days and still wouldn't budge, ended up tapping it with a hammer and blunt chisel, well i say tapping it, more like whacking it as it still wouldn't budge, it sheared off the shaft in the end, but on the inside of the shaft, getting out past the shaft took me ages, but it's well worth it. The low down growl it has now is spot on.

    Afaik, the valve is only there to "quiten" the exhaust down at low revs in residential areas!
