Just cleaned my interior with halfrauds colth interior cleaner and its made it worse
they seem to stain really easy and wondered if anyone has the same trouble and what cleaner they use
The problem with most cleaners is they wet the seat too much and water gets into the sponge and causes water marks. You really need a proper steam cleaner or a george wet vac with extraction pipe. You would then spray on an APC, agitate with a brush and suck out any moisture. HTH
I use vanish
As mentioned steam cleaner is always going to be best idea.. if that's not possible though try this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MEGUIARS-CARPE...item2564381844
Used it on my seats and headlining in my last BM, you need to be careful with the sprayer to make sure it doesn't spit everywhere but basically its spray on and pat off lightly with slightly damp microfibre.. did the job for me
Get some RugDoctor Upholstery Cleaner/Shampoo and dilute as necessary. Or you could rent the machine and use the hand tool attachment.
I've cleaned 3 cars with the RugDoctor machine and it hasn't yet not been able to remove a stain!!!
I 100% recommend it and you will be definately happy with the results!
All the best,
I bought a pump action bottle of Halfords fabric cleaner for use on my wifes Bemmer, zapped stain for 2 seconds with our cheap kettle style domestic steam cleaner, sprayed on the cleaner, agitated it with a valeting sponge applied steam again & blotted NOT rubbed dry with a new clean microfiber cloth. I feel I got great results, this stain looked like it had been there for years. Keep area small, don,t wet too much at once, Like a woman really ;-)
