My style 22 motorsport alloys went on today and boy am I chuffed with how they have transformed the drive of the car (235/40/17).
I have a couple of spare alloys and one could do with a refurb now I know it will be more cost effective to get them sand blasted and done properly by a pro but if you could humour me I'd like to have a go myself
I've read that the paint and lacquer I need is the Wurth stuff but am I right in assuming i need to remove all existing paint and lacquer or can I just do the bits that look bad
Also, how do you folks remove the paint and lacquer - do you use sanding blocks or put an attachment on the end of a drill or car polisher (sorry if that sounds stupid).
I may not do anything but I'd like to know how to before I chicken out and get it done by a pro
