    Cheap is not always best. I'd much rather pay the extra for a decent job and from garages that are renowned for their work.

    For a decent job I wouldn't batter an eyelid at £1500

    I agree, cheapest isn't always best, especially when it comes to your paintwork, it's the first thing you notice about a car. I got a scratch repaired on my passenger door. Got a cheap quote, and didn't want to go through my insurance. It was a poor colour match and there was overspray all over the place. I ended up paying somebody else to correct it. Moral of the story, buy cheap, buy twice!
