that silver strip that runs over the top of the door shuts.
mine is very water stained,my mates is the same.
what do others use to bring them up sparkly?
i've considered autosol or duraglit but was unsure if there was a finish on the whossname that might be damaged by them.or i thought of a limescale remover, but being acid based thought i wouldn't put it near my new motor lol.
any suggestions gratefully received.
ok,the silver strip that runs from the a pillar to the c pillar over the top of the doors.its attached to the roof so when the doors are open you can see a bit more of it.
you know...the whossname
Seems a common problem as the strip on my 2000 coupe is exactly the same. The only temporary cure to get the shine back has been to use Autoglym High Gloss Finish or the new Simoniz "Ice" polish. Both are good at masking that cloudy effect but dont last more than a week or so.
Anyway, I thought the correct description was a "Whatitsname" or a "Thingy-o" )
I use the meguiars one on exhaust tips, grilles and other odd bits without problem
