    Hi Folks,

not sure what I'd do without the help of you guys!

On the drivers side under the leather seat is a plastic base sort of strip - seems to be ABS maybe. Anyway where my shoes have rubbed against it getting in and out the car, is a white scuff mark which I cannot get out.

Tried soap and water, interior armour all plastic wipes. After drying it just comes back! Any suggestions?

Also, in between the front and rear side mirrors on the exterior is a plastic strip with finger marks all over them. I just can't seem to get these clean and spoil the look of the car. What's the best stuff to clean these?

hope I've made sense describing where these things are. If not I'll try to get a couple of photos up later.

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Steve

These are the two 'problem' areas - how and what with do you clean these?
They look like they have been fingerprint dusted by the law!

First pic is my actual car, second is taken off the web and arrows added in photoshop.

    Thanks.

bit hard to see in the small pics, but if you've taken a small chuck out of the black plastic then you will have to get a touch up pen or something to take your eye of it. If its just a heavy scuff, try some gentle effort with a brillo pad and then go over with some gel type of black trim treatment product.

For what its worth, I use the Turtle Ice Wax (liquid form) on exterior and such interior trim pieces and its effortless, you just apply it and it just seems to last for ever.

I have a mate with a window business and he uses what they use to clean UPVC frames up with that have been damaged/scuffed in transit. I have never had the guts to do it myself but it works a treat. May be worth a try ?
