    Try using a pressure washer in the engine bay I haven't done it obviously but there are dim-wits that have .If you look it up on you-tube there are several videos on engine detailing

    DO NOT USE A PRESSURE WASHER... A degreaser worked in with a paint brush an then a quick hose off...

    But make sure all electrics are covered and the intake, breathers etc.

    When I say hose off i mean litarally sprinkle, do not drown the engine. I use a steamer personally and ensure that everything is dry afterwards. I also take it for a good drive after to ensure that any left over water is heated away.

    Get a steam cleaner guys... i got one but havent used it on the engine yet as ive lost some accessories! Grrr!
