Finally got around to doing a decent clean my sport last weekend.....had to do it for shame sake!!! The only downside is that the appalling state of my alloys is now visble for all the world to see!! Also indulged in a little bit of badge deletion along the way...took all of five minutes as it was so warm outside!! Here's some before and after pictures..

    Nice work D-Sport

you've gotta feel better now you've done it.

I really like the badge deletion, I might have a bash at that, was it tricky to do?

Thanks mate, much better!! Well, apart from the nagging need to get my wheels refurbished!!! The badge deletion was a piece of cake, just heated the badge up with a hair dryer so that it softens the adhesive and used an old credit card to gently prise the badge off. Cleaned the remaining adhesive off with some AG tar remover and then a little AG paint renovator as there was still a faint outline.

We all need the wheels refurbing don't we? But can we justify the expence.

thanks for the tip about debadging, I'll have to see how the motor runs after its remap, if it flys, they're coming off, so no one will know whats just passed them

You're welcome!! I did the same with my old E30 325i but the six cylinder growl from the Scorpion exhaust usually gave the game away!!!

I'd be interested to know how you get on with the remap.......something else I'm thinking about but I really should get a job or win the lottery first to fund it!!!!

You could always say its half a V8 or two thirds of a straight six!
    To do: Far too much.....

Me: 04 E46 320d Sport in Titan Silver

The Mrs: 59 E92 320d Sport in Space Grey....now replaced by a 61 plate Z4 2.0L S-drive M-Sport in Deep Sea Blue with beige leather

    I'm just a lottery win away from that 335i.........and a Series 3 Discovery..........and an old Mini.........and an E30 325i........
