Since the sun was out and I was working off a hangover decided to clean both the cars yesterday .... 1pm start and a 7pm finish . Spent £50 on cleaning products including:

    Autoglym =

    Shampoo
    Special Resin
Interior and exterior trim polish (for rubber and vinyl)
    Leather Care Cream
    Tyre polish / finish

    and non Autoglym =

    Wonder wheels
Window cleaner (the indian man cheapness got to me I couldn't be bothered to buy Autoglym car window cleaner )
    New cotten polish cloths
Microfibre cloth for inside the car

Results in the piccies attached. Not a detail as such but just a damn good spring clean for both cars ...... it made me realise how much the e39's paint work has suffered (stone chips, scratches and trolley dings ). The Mini is in fantastic shape panel wise in comparison .... and u can see the wifey (Miss Paagal) is happy too . Thoughts please

the 5 looks pretty tidy - have you tried any metal polish on the exhaust? I keep meaning to invest in some.

The 5 had it's fair share of issues initially but now it's a lovely reliable motor which I am going to keep for a long time. The Mini although a lovely car is making way for a house deposit in December
