For £20 extra you can get a silverline one, most body shops use them and they're pretty good i've got one and a £60 unbranded one of ebay and I can't tell the difference between them. Just don't get an angle grinder that has a D handle put on to it

you can look at a ketrel das-6, very nicely priced and excellent for beginners, think they are around £80 IIRC

    I've got this http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish.../prod_513.html

Absolutely spot on, works perfectly, very powerful and has the essential speed control dial

Me and a few boys from work chipped in £20 each last year and got the polisher, backing plate and a variety of pads.. we've all used it 3 or 4 times each and it's working perfectly.. why pay more when you can get one at that price with a 3 year guarantee!?!?

i second the vote for the kestral das 6, i paid £130 which inc all the pads and polishes needed (sonus polishes) best thing i've ever bought for the car!
