Right, there's always confusion on which interior led canbus bulbs people should get which will perform great. So naturally we look at big companies like hids-4u or Horizon led etc...but for the fraction of the price...I give you Ebay!!

So I ordered 3 different sets just to trial and error...

Your usual 5 led t10 wedge, 6 mini leds and this new shape which has lots of leds and everywhere claims it to be the brightest on the market.

Anyway, here is the result of a cheap led

And these are the outstanding leds I used for the courtesy lights only (the main centre ones only)

Hope this helps anyone which is looking for a brighter up to date interior look.

    🖒

This isn't news. If a bulb is canbus error free, its canbus error free. If you get hit with a higher price tag for a premium reseller that your mistake.

Like you rightly point out, eBay is the best place. Last time I looked, I could do my full F10 (so that's around 23 bulbs for under £23, horizon LED seems to be £37. You can also go to BMW and they will sell you a full set at over a £100

It was news for me. Sorry I'm deep into the scene like yourself. I know the difference between canbus and non canbus but most bulbs have terrible light output

And I thought I'd be a little helping hand for others which end up spending stupid loads on their interior and it still looks crap.

For me personally, those lights are too blue. If they were perfect white, id get them in a heartbeat, but in my oyster coloured interior, blue would look horrible, so ill stick to the old school incandescent bulbs

yes cheap is good but also need make sure they are of good quality.

I personally sell led kits for half the price...for a few years on eBay now.. I normally do them for VW golfs, audis etc, in the process of doing BMW..

I am going to test them on my own car first before selling kits on ebay .. but just advice for people before buying cheap on ebay makesure they are coming from the UK and look good quality ..as crappy ones wont last more then a week

buy them in quantity of 10's..so if one does go you have a replacement at hand

Took me months to find a decent supplier who I buy bulks off (don't ask me to tell you who). Lot of the cheap ones are Chinese bulbs which do not last the 50,000 hours they should

My E60n Sport is got all LEDs and Xenons on all the exterior lights, but I've left interior lights as incandescent bulbs, just because I suffer from looking at bright lights when in dim light, like night time. Having those LED interior bulbs when opening the door at night would kill me..!

They are extremely bright during the night I will admit. The picture does it no justice! My phone camera finds it hard to get a proper picture of the bulb in action. Just imagine having a 6000k hid in your eyes 😂

Learn something new everyday! What is your eBay account? Could potentially use you in future!! Il send all my lot to you aswell

But again, same as yourself, I don't recommend anything I don't try.

But these bulbs look quality built and are from UK. When I opened the box and compared the bulbs these were by far the sturdiest and best built imo
