Do you have a heat gu? This will help with slight stretch on the carbon sheet and enable u to bend it around corners well. Also get a really sharp blade (Scalpel) to help trimming...

How much sheeting do you need to do an E46 then? The door trims, dash trims, gearlever surround only (I won't be doing my steering wheel!).
    I've seen 122cm wide by 30cm, 122x50cm or 122x100cm... any ideas?

I bought 30 x 120cm and done dash trims and gearlever and still have some left for steering wheel when I get round to it...

I want to do my door trims too so will need to order some more. Get the biggest you can afford Paddy. Sometimes you mess up the first go so its good to have a little extra...

oh, try and make sure the carbon weave points in the same direction on all the different panels. I warn you now its highly addictive so know when to stop

what i would say is that 3m stuff has a directional weave if you know what i mean so make sure you plan all the bits you do so that the weave all goes the same way!
