Hi I have seemed to messed up and need to paint a bit at the front. I have already tried repainting the section but it does not blend with the rest of the panel I think its because of the top layer of existing laquer how do I get rid of it! Also I am wondering if i can attach wet dry onto a machine sander?

Oh the car is silver 328I 1996

Silver is notoriously difficult to blend...will need to spray the whole panel but then it may not match with the wings etc
