    Hi all,

Last night i spotted a set of 18" wheels on ebay that looked perfect for my car. The guy mentioned they were originally from his 5 series but would fit the 3 series.

I made the mistake of taking his assurance as gospel, & clicked on buy now.

Now after doing some research, the general concensus is they will not fit due to the offset being different.

    To confirm i have a 2002 325i SE (E46)

The wheels in question are here

Could someone please confirm whether these wheels will actually fit or not?
It would be very much appreciated.

    Regards
    Chris

As far as I am aware they will not fit, they will fit an m3 though.

You can find you tyres sizes on the inside of your door so according to mine the max size I can have is 225/40/18 on the front and 255/35/18 or 225/40/18 all around. The m3 ofset is different and I believe 245/40/18 will fit.

So you have may have made a mistake buying these wheels.

5 series wheels use a different offset to a 3 series so will NOT fit

    have you already paid?
If not cancel the sale because if he said the would fit and they wont then its misleading information and therefore makes the sale null and void

I was close to getting a set of these for my E36, one of the best looking BMW wheels IMHO.
