Hi folks just thought i should let people know that as my car is new to me i gave it a good clean on Sunday and used a product from BMW. The polish was ordered from EBay and came in a kit at the cost of £10. Its called Hard wax polish and is very very good. The polish is a liquid but very thin, IE as thin as water! So it goes on very easy, it dries in seconds and just goes dull. With a clean cloth the polish shines with no effort and my car looks like a glass finish. The pack was called a BMW clean and protect pack, and I believe that the Mini one advertised as well is exactly the same, anyhow its well worth the money!! Go shine and protect people!!!

You say shine and protect - be interesting to see how good it is as protection. Usually things that go on easy and are cheap are little more than house polish. If this does offer protection then I'll check it out as it takes ages to do a good waxing.

Sounds like you have started on the trail of the detailing bug. Hide your credit card as there are plenty of products out there that you will want to try and dare i say quite a bit better. Put some pics up mate

Sounds like a liquid glaze to me more than a polish.

Got some of this stuff free along with other care products when I collected my New BMW recently but have not used it yet. Will now give it a try. BMW's own brand dash board cleaner is very good - leaves a nice matt finish and pleasant smell.

If anybody has a favorite wax or cleaning product like the BMW`s own interior cleaner let us know. I am after some glass cleaner for inside on the screen as well. There are probably better polish products out there but this stuff has done a real nice job and lifted dirt of an already clean car. The car was washed and looked great then when it was polished the cloth i used needed to be folded and rotated loads because of the grime it was lifting out of the body work. The paint looks fresh like new and was well worth not much effort.

If it's that BMW wax with nano technology, then you may as well get Sonax since it has been re-branded . Cheaper too

Try Autoglym car glass polish - not the fastglass stuff, but the one that comes in the white flip-top bottle with blue lettering and logo. Very good stuff, easy to use and it works out to be very economical. Be sure to apply it very sparingly, if you trowel it on you'll get a heap of white dust when you buff it off.
