Booked in for a 2 day enhancement detail (1 stage machine polish) to freshen up the paintwork and then lay down some protection, a few added extras where to detail the interior and treat the leather and detail the engine bay.

The customer had also requested to have the Zaino treatment also so out with the box of tricks.

    Car on arrival

So first up wheels where tackled with AS smart wheels EZ brushes for the inners and envy brushes for the faces to leave the looking like this.

Wheels arches sprayed with AS G101 as were the door shuts petrol flap etc and cleaned with various brushes and then rinsed, first layer of warm snow foam applied.

Left to dwell for approx 6 mins to do it's stuff.

Then rinsed, foamed again and then washed 2BM with Z7 and lambs wool mitt.

    Then thoroughly rinsed.

Lower half of the car treated with AS tardis to remove clay contamination and then clayed with Sonus green and Megs last touch for lube.

Paintwork was seriously contaminated even higher up the panels.

Rinsed once more then moved the car inside and dried with Uber drying towel.

Paintwork measured which was showing very healthy readings throughout and then paintwork inspected.

And some deeper defects that would require a bit of attention.

The majority of the polishing was done with a Megs 83 on a Megs polishing pad.

Not the best 50/50 but after looking through my camera it appeared it was the only one I took

Once all the polishing was completed the paintwork was cleansed with Z-AIO via the Megs G220 machine. Then the first of 2 coats of Z5 applied, tailpipes polished with Autosol, windows cleaned with Z12, leather cleaned with Z-9 and then conditioned with Z-10, wheels sealed with 2 coats of FK1000 first one applied 24hrs prior, engine dressed with Megs all season dressing. Then a final wipe down with Z8.

    Afters

It had been sunny all day but as soon as I rolled the M3 out for some pics it clouded over

    As always thanks for looking.

    Neil

Looking really nice. Good job as always. I just like looking at the clean pictures :P

first layer of warm snow foam applied
May be a daft question but how do you make it warm? When i do it the foam always comes out cold even with warm water in the bottle.
