    Hi all,

I am doing a headlight upgrade on my car, i have 2007 56 plate 520 M Sport that has the normal headlights at the moment, and i ahve just purchased two headlights from a 09 plate.

Ignoring the wiring will the headlights fit in? Or is there a difference in the bodywork or bumbers between the facelift and non facelift model?

    Thanks in advance...

I have tried (by mistake) and they dont fit there is a slight change in the shape and size at the back of the headlight.

Just out of curiosity you say "ignore the wiring ". How you going to wire them if the connections are different and the lights are different?

Thanks for that, what did you end up doing with yours then?

The reason i said ignore the wiring is because my mate is an expert in car electronics so any wiring issues he would have sorted out, i was just worried about the fit of the lights into the car.

I swapped them for a set for my year of car. I wanted the halogen ones but came up with all sorts of problems. Im not great with a spanner so someone maybe able to quote me wrong.
