Just a poll really i suppose who else likes carbon fiber bits in there car?

How many bits have you got thats carbon fiber?

iv got.

glove box trim
door handle surrounds
wing mirror backs
steering wheel inserts
steering wheel badge
window switch surrounds
headlight aim/dimmer
speedo dial surrounds

Do you mean the whole of the glove box?

Hey Rob could be wrong but i would imagine with a heat gun and some patience that the carbon vinyl would do pretty much anything..... Would be well worth a try!!!! :) and be very interesting to see.
Ok mate i have seen it being done on youtube but i dont really want to spend all the money on doing it and the time and effort then when i go out down the road it gets ripped

How about white carbon like what we've done with our 350Z:




I personally don't like black vinyl carbon because it looks nothing like the real thing.
Real carbon wet laid using vac bagging:



Another nice one is gun metal carbon:


Having real carbon on the engine isn't really a good idea because the heat causes the gel clear coat to fog up in time.
Vinyl simply doesn't work with engine heat so that's out the question.

I also wouldn't advise wrapping your alloys in vinyl because it will be destroyed within days.
If you really want a carbon look for your alloys, I'd advise going for a carbon look dip bath but even still it's more silver and black rectangle check look.
