    hi, dont no what to do with my chrome grills, on my black e36. feeling black but not to sure. u got any pics of your bm's with black grills in or any thoughts. thanks alot.

    This has been asked quite a few times in the months i have been here. Most people agree black grills look better, 20% at a guess think they should remain chrome.

    For my answer.....look at my signature. Mine are not home sprayed though, they are Hamann Black E36 Kidney Grills.

    If you're doing the grills yourself, make sure the paint has plenty of layers and is hard wearing. Enamel type paint that can take the stone chips.
    If/when I do mine, there'll be at least 8 coats.
    Clear your heads and get ready to run.
    Remember, the best times are yet to come.
