After that it got gone over with Dodo Lime Prime and then 2 coats of the Supernatural.

I would have machined it but didn't really have the time to be honest. I got pretty good results from that.
Yea i applied my supernatural a few months back and it beads jst as good as colli does,

Have you tryed DD - Red mist over the top of super natural?

i give it a quick wipe after every wash between coats of SN it looks so much more glossy and 'wet' after the red mist

Te only thing I use the Red Mist on is the side and rear windows to get the water to bead off them mate. Wouldn't put it near waxed paintwork now! It actually breaks the coat of Supernatural down over time and the beading just comes from the Red Mist itself. It's full of various etc that arent good for the wax. Try squirting it over a burning match and lighter and watch the flame it gives off!!! Think what it's doing to the wax!!

I used to use it all the time after washing till I was speaking to the detailer that taught me to machine polish and he showed me what it did and to stop using it!!

just to say i went with the collinite wax and got to say one of te best waxes i have used. Spent the best part a a sat cleaning and prep the car before waxing, and some pics of the end result. pics a re not the best as the car is in the garage (raining again in wales) but the clarity and reflection is great.

As one of the guys said earlier, prep is essential to producing a great finish with any wax.

I clay the whole car every 6 months, and then seal the finish with Carlack NSC, and finish with Carlack LLS, and only then apply wax.

After that its just a case of wash, dry and wax, every couple of weeks.

My favourite wax is DoDo juice Diamond White, but I've started using Poorboys Natty Paste Wax. because it'll go on even in direct sunlight.

I'm finding it leaves quite a nice gloss and deep shine, and water beading lasts for at least 4 weeks.
