ok so im looking for the best shampoo to complete my cleaning routine..

have tried.. turtlewax platinum, was better than expected but left a lot of streaks etc..

meguiars tech wash, was ok but didnt foam up enough so also left a lot of streaks..

also tried autoglym wash which i personally thought was crap, didnt seem to do much at all too be honest! was a very hot day when i used it though to be fair!!

looking at either armorall heavy duty, maybe something from chemical guys or dodo juice (not the born to be mild. forgot what its call!)???? maybe even meguiars gold class??

whats your experiences of these washes??

I always use Armourall for car wash shampoo as you may have seen from some of my threads.

I use both the heavy duty wash and the wax and wax (depending on the car and what I'm doing). The Heavy duty wash (green bottle) is great, does what it says on the tin. The Wash & Wax with Carnuba (blue bottle) is effective if your car is not heavily stained and soiled.

Both are streak and problem free, cheap and a genuinely a superb product, hence why I won't bother using anything else.

For what its worth, I have washed my cars (2 x silver, 1 blue and 1 black) in the sunlight and on some occasions just left the the soap to dry whilst working my way around the car. The Armourall rinses off fine but you need to finish off by drying with a microfibre drying cloth.
Let the fun times roll .....

i use the megs gold class...its ok tbh but if you wash any car in direct sunlight expect streaks.
the dodo lime prime is meant to be good though

i think its meant to be used before a wash to prep the paint for washing / polishing / waxing etc??

i know what you mean the price is steap but apparantly it goes a long way!!

you can also get tester packs for dodo juice with a little bit of each product!!
