    Hi Guys

Just after some advice from the car detailers out there - what pressure washer would you guys recommend? I am looking at something like this:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...01DXEY46322820

Is that pwerful enough? Is there one specifically you would recommend for cars? I'd need it to wash the car as well as cleaning my decking.

    Thanks in advance.

I'll get a detailer from dayhift to help you out st_files . Personally speaking, I wouldn't use anything except a Karcher.

I agree. Anything 'Karcher' will do the trick.

I have one - but haven't used it for a while. I always handwash.
Be sure though to start off with a soft pressure, especially on parts with worn paint.
The pressure if strong enough will strip paint (weak parts of paint).

My mate had his car egged...!?! and when he pressure washed it off, he took some paint off. He wasn't too pleased.

If your using from a mains supply (tap) then most PW will be suffice.

Then one in the link will be fine, but the extra's and attachments aren't necessary for use on your car, certainly not the dirtblaster nozzle or pencil jets.
A variable lance is a good option to adjust the jet angle and flow.
Might be a better idea to search for one without all the extra fittings, get a better machine (induction motor) without having to pay for unnecessary bits.

A little bit more money but a better machine-

KARCHER have made them for years, BOSCH don't last very long.
I used to ride MOTOX & it was the best tool for the JOB, Lots of different nozzle options with the KARCHER.
