was looking at this stuff in halfords today, just wondering would it be ok to use meguairs 2.0 tech wax on my car after using the resin polish??

or is this defeating the object of the polish???

You can use it after as its a wax. However, you WILL need to be sure that you leave the car for a good few hours after the polish for it to set if you are using the 'liquid' variant of the wax.

SRP is not a great product.

If you are wanting to fill mirror swirls etc, I would go with bilt hammer or zaino z5.
These both have filling qualities and do a far better job and leave a better finish.
Follow with a glaze and then a wax.

Finish should be a lot better.

Carnuba wax is also good for getting rid of swirls, especially good for dark coloured cars where it reli shows.

ive always used super resin wax to be honest, its always worked for me. I use other AG products too like the bumper care stuff for your plastics, which i have discovered today that bugs really like it. found about 40 tiny bugs up all around the cap stuck in the gel lol.
