BUT...if you want a good finish to your car follow this step by step

    1) Jet wash the car with water first, then whipe off the excess grime with a wash mitt

    2) Get some quality shampoo e.g. auto glym shampoo

    3) Use quick clay and work your way round the whole car bit by bit

    4) Machine polish to make it shiney e.g Auto Glym or Meguires Deep Crystal Step 2 polish

    5) Use dodo juice or Meguires tech 2.0 wax, then machine it off

And if you still have energy lol, then use EGP (Extra Gloss Protection) to give it that more enhanced shiney look

I do it once a week to my car!!!

what does the kit include? do you have a link?
jusging from other autoglym kits that i ahev seen, and tryed i would of said that there are better products avalible, Usally with the kits the amounts of products you get are less and make them a bit expensive
    i would suggest:
    shampoo - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washin.../prod_423.html
clay bar - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detail.../prod_437.html and use a small amount of shampoo with water as lubricant in a squirty bottledrying towel - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washin.../prod_362.html
    a sponge or mitt
    a few micro-fiber cloths
and a wax to finish off i use http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/co.../prod_451.html

As with most things, its not nessiarily the how good/expensive the prodcuts you use are, its the time and effort that you put in, you could have the best products going and spend 10 mins and it will look just that a 10min job. but put the time and attention in and the car will look stunning, obviously good prodicts will top the look off
