As the title folks. Bought the rear lip spoiler and it will be painted later this week. I have seen that it has 2 strips of 3M tape, but is this enough?

Wondering what you guys used to stick your spoilers, skirts etc to your cars?

I have come across something called "betalink K2" for bonding spoiler - is it the best as i can't screw it down

    Any help appreciated - thanks

I used 3M tape on my E93 to fix the front spolier, lasted 2 years and never budged. Applied properly on a good clean surface it's quick, easy, and lasts well. It's just when you look at it you think that this isn't going to work

Hi Fitted a boot lip spoiler to my 330ci and yes the two strips of tape are good enough ,
1 , make sure the boot lid is clean and dry.
2 , put boot lip on house radiator for about 20 min as this makes it more plyable and makes it easy to follow the contour of your boot.
3 , i measured the spoiler and put a bit of masking tape halfway with a pencil mark on it , did same to boot lid , peeled off tape backing and matched it all up. (easy)
    4 , hope this helped.
    5 , good luck.
