I'm not driving about with my headlights smashed...no, no, no if only!

I recently had a smash on the motorway so my car is off the road getting repaired atm. Drivers headlight was totally smashed, the other headlight was fine until the neightbours son ran right into it on his bike and smashed it

So i'm needing to replace both headlights along with everything else.

Unfortunately my precious now looks like this...

You are then able to do the CCFL conversion like Joe did. He was kind enough to post a "How To" on the forum

There are many variations of CCFL kits available on the net and ebay. I've never thought of doing the conversion so I am unable to recommend which particular kit to use

It may be worth checking out Joe's guide (link has already been posted in this thread) and PM him if you have any questions
Is that your car in your sig?

    What kinda headlights are those?

Your gonna need to replace some parts there........... and some inc your front bumper don't come cheap for genuine bits.... perhaps now is the time to see if a modifications garage can do the headlight install while all your parts are getting sprayed....?

    OUCH!!! That looks nasty

Did the chassis leg survive the impact as it looks very close

It is indeed my car in my signature

The headlights are the first design of angel eye Hella introduced to the market. They were a lot of money back then and I was one of the first to own them in my area

Judging by the fact that the bumper carrier still looks intact I would say yes it did survive but yes very close
