Right i gotta get rid of the orange indicators on the 328i. (my first mod! - get in!) There's so many options. I could just change the orange indicators for clear ones - The cheap option. Or i could go for a whole head light conversion which would have to be smoked angel eyes me thinks. This is gonna cost over a ton! Or just fit ccfl angel eye rings into the current head light? Is it really worth it? Opinions and where's the best place to source stuff would be much appreciated.

    see pics attached

    Thanks

    Charlie

Retrofitting CCFL Angel Eye rings to standard headlights look so much better in my opinion, I think think complete headlight angel eye units look really tacky but thats just what I think!

Check out my How-To for CCFL Angel Eye installation, my pic below shows them on with Xenons installed as well. - http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...el-eyes-t9555/

And see this thread for comparison between dedicated angel eye units and CCFL angel eyes retrofitted

Yeah i was thinking that the complete units would probably look tacky! Plus there expensive. I've been looking on ebay for clear indicators on there own and they seem to look tacky aswell. Do you know anywhere that stock decent ones and the ccfl angel eye kits? I wanna get these fitted on the weekend and ebay wont deliver in time!
    Cheers pal

I don't know anywhere that sells the CCFL units other than online shops or Ebay, I got mine from Ebay. There are one or two online shops I think that sell the CCFL units but usually they're more expensive on Ebay, I can't find the link to those sites at the moment though anyway

I got clear indicators from ebay they're better than they looked in the photo, I got clear bulbs that flash amber and they look quite good, see pic below.

Not the best photo but i went for the clear lens black backed projector indicators. When i received them i thought 'oh dear' these are going back, there going to look chavvy. Put them on the car and i was well impressed they look so much better than i thought. Defo gonna keep them! : )
