    Can anyone recommend a good product to clean my exhaust tail pipes, as above there stainless steel

    I don't want to use any old cleaner shiting myself in case I damage the pipes

    ps. was it this forum that I seen someone doing just that, im sure they were detailing an old E36 Alpina, for the life of me I cant find the thread.

    Thanks for that, They aren't chrome tail pipes that you fit over your exhaust, just in case you thought they were. does this stuff clean the stainless steel

    cleaning you exhaust pipes, you got it bad Edd, i normally clean my pipe with soap

    Just found this on the Miltek (stainless exhaust manufacturer) website:

    "Silvo Silver Polish with Wadding. It's important to get the one with the wadding inside as it's really good at getting it clean. Clean the bulk of the soot off the surface with an old rag first and then use the polish/wadding to get your tailpipe(s) sparkling again."
