    Hi

I'm not sure if I will be able to garage my car this winter and I want to protect it from the elements as much as possible so I'd like to know which weather cover is a good one?

One person said to me that the covers are a bad idea as they scratch the paintwork and i really don't want this to happen so would value your opinions

Also do you guys have any recommendations for tyre pumps ?

True, it depends on what quality you get,

if you are going to by a cover, make sure you buy the best quality you can afford, it should definatly be:
    Breathable
    Quilted

if it isnt breathable moisture will be trapped inside and damage your paint work,
if it isnt quilted the material will scratch your paint work

Never put a car that is wet under its cover, this will also damage your paint work
and on the same token, if the car is really dirty i wouldnt put it in the cover, the cover will move the dirt on the surface of your paint and damage the paint, but a quilted cover will help to lessen this

So basically it all comes down to quality, you get what you pay for, personally i would expect to pay £150+ for a decent cover. the "cheaper" £30 ebay speacials will be no use to you and you would be better off leaving it out side for the winter with a good few coats of collinite 476s

    Cheers chaps

I didn't know you could get quilted covers but now I think about it it makes a lot of sense.

A foot pump now you've just amused me as I thought someone would recommend a superdoopernimbus2001GT electric one but once again - makes a lot of sense although i am extremely lazy, any electric ones worth having ?
