    hi all i dropped my hardtop off at my mates spray shop on saturday and after looking it over he reckons that the rear window should come out. anybody had theres sprayed?? how is the window fixed is it bonded?

    I'd also like to know if the window needs to come out.

    I'm not sure how it's fixed but when I looked at getting a non matching hard top I was told the rear window had to come out was quoted a stupid amount for a respray (about £400 to include removal and refit.

    It's why I ended up buying one in the right colour and paying a bit more.

    Bodyshop didn't remove the window to repaint mine?

    Well the windows out





    After considering my options decided to have it done properley. It turns out the top had had a blow over upto the rubber before. So i coudnt chance it again as if it flaked or the pressure washer got under the paint it would be ruined

    yep its bonded theres an outer rubber but the inner seals bonded.
