    hi lads, i have the chance to change bumpers on my 2001 X, 330d

    to the slightly different style on the 2002 e46 saloon, pics below,

    from what i undestand they will be compatible straight away, can anyone help me to confirm also

    second that.. if youre gonna change.. go the whole hog and get the sports bumper but, TBH yours like fine. better than the one you wanna go for. thats what i got and they are bit boring looking.

    also be aware that there is a spate of sports bumpers being stolen off cars cos they are so popular.

    silly bmw have designed them to be taken off from outside the car, without any security like having to access the bolts only once the bonnet is open.. a thiefs heaven
