    Hi
I have a small-ish hole in the drivers seat (on the bolster where it sits over the frame and its always rubbed when someone gets in).

Any ideas how I can fix this (preferably cheaply ) and maybe stop it happening again?

I would say the only way I know of is to take the seat out and get an auto upholsterer to repair it

I don't think you will have to take the seat out to get it repaired if you look about. I know the IMC (Independant Motor Company - http://www.imc-bmw.com/) has, or at least used to have, someone that repaired the leather on seats (and did a really good job of it) when they'd get a car in for part ex to sell on. May be worth giving them a call to see if they have any contacts?
