As many of you know my coupe is STILL off the road and has been for a very long time now

Work is being undertaken at the moment to rectify this as soon as possible.

It has always been on my mind that even though I purchased the car "De-badged" and since doing the conversion I should re-fit 318is badges

Many people around my area have long forgotten about my car and the work that has been done to it. A lot of the lads that used to be on the scene have grown up and done grown up things

I want a 318is badge, de-chromed and sprayed black boasting the fact that it IS a 318is I think it will tempt a few quality moments on the lights and leave me with a moo-flocking-hass-ive grin on my face

Mine has been debadged but i was going to put the 320ci badge on the back for a laugh, it is now debadged and no one believes its a 330 until they get blown away. I would put the 318is badges on the back just for a laugh. Its always fun when you see the look on someones face who thnks they should've been quicker than you.

The thing is despite it saying 2990cc on the log book it still says the car is a 318is so I wouldn't be lying anyway. I just think it would be amusing...

after having an rs200 with 1300e badges on it
    a 2.3 viva with 1300 badge on
and numerous other chicken racers over the years, up to and including my 600 ducati that is now a 944cc petrol eating animal

I am definitely of the opinion that it is worth doing.

as you say, the car IS a 318, even if in memory alone.

    go for it
2002 325 Compact Sport ti M-Tec---- A little thanks goes a long way

Wouldn't be a bad idea, but perhaps the badge in black would be a bit of a tip-off to the fact the car is heavily modded and liable to be an arse-kicking machine.

I think maybe the fact it is sat on HOOOGE rims and is dragging its ass on the floor might also give it away a bit
