    Saw the carbon spoiler & front splitter on a black coupe and looked great but not sure about the carbon spoiler on white, to paint or not to paint???

    Keeping the front splitter carbon

    Dont paint it, I think proper carbon looks awsome against the light colours...

    Noooooooooooooooooooo...you can't paint carbon.....its a hanging offence

    I'm a bit of a carbon addict and it looks perfect on a white car

    Do not paint! Might as well get a crappy fibreglass jobbie if you want to paint it. DO NOT PAINT!

    What they said. If you dont want carbon (and some people don't), sell them to someone who does and buy white/primed parts.

    Thanks guys that's put my mind a rest, the more I looked at it the more I liked it carbon, its just a bit bigger than it looked in the BMW Performance brochure.

    Mate of mines just laquered his carbon bonnet with a base coat of black tint then 7 coats of clear laquer and it looks the dogs watzits.
    Subtle yet affective as you can still see the weave through the laquer on sunny days
