    I notice that the latest revision of coupes (and prob saloons) have the brighter sidelight bulbs, so that headlight and side lights are the same "colour".

    Anyone know if these bulbs can now be bought from motor factors and not going the ebay route (some random supplier)?

    sorry for my ignorance, but the link you sent takes me to a an LED kit - does this mean the newer models have LED ring lights as opposed to the typical bulb?

    Neal do you know where the resistor goes? Do you have to modify the light enclosure to let the resistor be fitted externally?

    Are you talking about the H8 kit in the link?

    yeah...in the pic you got the bulb, the connector and then the black cylindrical object which i assumed was the resistor so you don' get the error codes. Am i mistaken?

    are these led markers safe i.e. no error messages and no long term damage to the lcm?

    Not mistaken, that is a canceller. I've known a few people fit this without any problems as the error canceller takes care of the footwell module

    I think it was Neal that directed me towards these;

    Not LED but i am very happy with them indeed, especially for £12.50 and with a super bright white light for the angel eyes

    and also took under 2 minutes to change both which was a bonus

    snap! ordered these on sunday, arrived today and were fitted in a matter of minutes! I got the cosmos blue though as it matched the xenon exactly imo. not chavy blue mind! looks good and gets rid of the horrible yellow contrast that the oem rings gave compared to the xenons.

    i was just inquiring about the leds out of interest.
