Was just wondering what's the difference between clay and t-cut in terms of what they do as they both seem to remover ingrained impurities from the paint. Which is better?

Clay draws out the impurities and leaves the finish feeling like glass but doesn't harm the paintwork.T-cut is paint stripper and removes a layer of paint-or more if you are not careful.

I would only use t-cut to tart up a car and mask minor problems with the paint to sell it..

Claying a car is just part of a proper detailing routine and will not remove or mask scratches..

Better off claying and machine polishing the car than potentially ruining the paint on a rather expensive car with t-cut..
