    HI All,

I have a e93 2007 and the strip of painted trim that runs across the heater vents and over the two cup holders on the passenger side has a couple of scratches in it, they were there when I got the car and I would really like to see the back of them, I tried using a rubbing compound to remove them but, sadly they are to deep.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how easy that strip might be to remove and should I have it repainted or is it going to be just as cheap to order a new one and fit it?

    Many thanks

    Stu

Dead easy to remove, they are just push fit, just make sure you don't use a screw driver and put a dent in the surrounding area. They can be bought seperately, I would even try QUARRY MOTORS, our forum vendor for one out of a scrapper
2013, Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, PDK, Sports Exhaust, Chrono, etc, etc

you say the strip is painted? Is that an after market thing then cause I really hate the aluminium. Got the piano black trim priced and it was something like £400 at the dealers

    Gaza

I think the other trims look cheap, wood is too old skool
i got brushed aluminium which i think looks the best

ahhhh...but bet you ain't seen the piano back option tho
I just find there is too many colours with the red leather then black everywhere else and then the bright aluminium trim. But do agree though the wood doesn't really work too well.
