    Hi Guys,

Looking to change my driver car mat.
It drives me nuts, it keeps on sliding upwards so that the top part of the mat folds under itself and bulges up alongside the accelerator pedal.

The mat itself isn't worn or anything, but there are no fastenings to hold it in place to the carpeting.

Can anyone recommend a way of keeping it in place, or a replacement mat that won't suffer from the same issue?

    Thanks,

    Hugh

if you got the fabric mats then get some velcro fastners that fit into holes on the floor of the car...the mat then hold steady on this

    Cheers Gazza,

I have the fabric mats, but there doesn't appear to be any holes in the floor.

The mats just have this screw type thing coming through the mat that is supposed to catch in the carpet underneath, but the screw is so short it doesn't really penetrate.

Am I missing a piece, or can anyone recommend where to pick up the faseners?

Ring up yr local bmw dealer. I suspect but ud need to check with them that the hole is there below the carpet. Just a case of feeling for it, punching the hole and then fitting the velcro fasteners (which u can order from them while on the phone)
